It's all go for Dirtbike-traxs and the World Trial at Carlisle, the FIM visited the Nord vue venue Carlisle on Monday 3rd of November for homologation of the site.  Inspecting the facilities on behalf of the FIM was Jean-marc Crumiere and after several hours on site he was pleased with what he saw , the site has a lot to offer the spea world trials championship with access straight off the M6/A6 , excellent paddock areas which are secure and offer the hard standing required, the sections are based in the quarry and as Jean-marc saw most are already in place, with unlimited amounts of rock and natural features.  Graham Jarvis in charge of section construction has plenty to work with when he construct the final few sections.  Present at the meeting was Jean-marc Crumiere FIM, Dave Willoughby ACU, Ian Murphy clerk of the course, Mick Wren assistant clerk of the course, John Kerwin event director and Graham Jarvis section construction.  Dirtbike-traxs have assembled a good team which will deliver a world class event to Cumbria in May next year.  With the experience of Ian Murphy acting as clerk of the course and with Mick Wren as his assistant Dirtbike-traxs have brought together a wealth of experience and knowledge.  John Kerwin said, "we are still looking for a main sponsor we have not pursued this up to now as everything depended on today’s visit, now Jean-marc has given the go ahead for the event we will be actively seeking sponsorship for this world class event".  We plan to have a special ticket offer before Xmas which will offer a significant saving on tickets purchased before Jan 1st 2009, full details will be on www.worldtrialuk.com soon.
